I'm Alexandra Kabbourg, a civil engineer (EIT) focused on transportation and safety design. My past work includes designing evacuation routes for a proposed nuclear power plant in Washington, analyzing transport protocols for toxic materials bound for Montana's Berkeley Pit, and redesigning school zones in Arizona to make student pickup and drop-off safer. I'm drawn to high-stakes work that makes communities safer and more resilient.
I co-founded Peak Science & Engineering, a volunteer organization in the Dominican Republic that provides free STEM courses to students. We're building pathways to university and technical careers through hands-on instruction and mentorship, making engineering education accessible to students who might not otherwise have it.
In my free time I build digital tools to help other engineers work smarter and save time. AI-powered applications, Python utilities, and career resources help streamline workflows and support professional development.
